• Go to the Golden Bridge first. It is the busiest spot on the mountain — arriving before 10:30 gives you cleaner photos and shorter waits.
• Bring a jacket. Da Nang city can be 33–35°C — the summit sits at over 1,400 m and is typically 10–15°C cooler. Even in summer it can feel cold at the top.
• Wear comfortable shoes that work on cobblestones — the French Village paths are uneven.
• Check the weather before you leave. Mornings tend to be clearer than afternoons. From October to March the mountain is sometimes in cloud all day — worth checking the forecast.
