Many family transfers in Central Vietnam are longer than visitors expect. Da Nang Airport to Hoi An is around 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. Hoi An to Ba Na Hills, Hoi An to Hue, and private shore excursions from 티엔사 항구 or Chan May Port can involve several hours in the car.

For small children, a proper seat helps them sit more comfortably, rest during the ride and stay in a safer position than sitting on a parent’s lap. It also makes the journey less stressful for parents, especially after a long flight or during a full-day tour.

Do the cars support ISOFIX?

The standard installation is by 3-point seat belt, because this works with almost all 4-seater, 7-seater and 16-seater vehicles used for private transfers.

ISOFIX can be requested for selected newer 7-seater vehicles or Kia Carnival when available. If ISOFIX is important for your family, please mention it clearly before booking so the team can check the suitable vehicle and seat combination.

Which vehicle is best with a baby seat, stroller and luggage?

A child seat uses real passenger space. If you also have suitcases, a stroller or more than one child seat, choosing a slightly larger vehicle makes the trip much more comfortable.

As a general rule, a 4-seater sedan is best with only 1 child seat and light luggage. A 7-seater can usually fit 1–2 child seats. A 16-seater van is better for larger families, cruise port pickups or long day trips with more bags.

Baby seat fee and how early to book

For point-to-point transfers, the baby seat fee is usually 100,000 VND per seat per ride. For full-day tours, the child seat fee is usually 150,000–200,000 VND per seat per day, depending on route length and schedule.

For return bookings or families needing a second seat, Minh Vu Travel may offer a free or discounted second seat depending on availability and route.

Flight delays

What if your flight is delayed?

If your pickup is from Da Nang Airport, please send your flight number when booking. The driver can monitor the flight, and the reserved child seat remains in the assigned vehicle. Normal flight delays do not create a separate cancellation fee for the seat.
