Private Car from Hoi An or Da Nang to Phong Nha

• Direct route: Hoi An / Da Nang → Hue area → north toward Phong Nha via suitable main roads. This is the most direct transfer option without sightseeing detours; the exact road route depends on traffic and conditions.
• Hue → Phong Nha (direct): one-way private car with hotel pickup and Phong Nha hotel drop-off, from 2,200,000 VND per car. This is separate from the Hoi An / Da Nang scenic transfer via Hue and DMZ.
• Scenic transfer via Hue & DMZ: Hoi An / Da Nang → Hue area → Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River historic site and selected DMZ stops → Phong Nha.
• Possible extra stops: Hien Luong – Ben Hai historical site, La Vang Holy Land or a short Hue stop, subject to access, opening conditions and agreed timing.
• Not a guided DMZ tour: this is still a private car transfer. If you need a licensed guide, please request it before booking.
• Custom quote: the scenic route takes longer than the direct transfer, so the final price depends on stops, timing and vehicle size.

From Da Nang, the fastest direct drive is about 5 hours. The 6-hour Hoi An and 5-hour Da Nang figures are best-case driving estimates; rest stops, meals, traffic, weather and sightseeing can extend the journey. The sample arrival window is not guaranteed.

• 06:00: Pickup in Hoi An and depart toward Hue.
• 09:00–10:00: Short Hue-area stop by request, depending on route and timing.
• 11:30–12:30: Continue north toward Quang Tri, with lunch on the way.
• Afternoon: Visit Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River and selected DMZ-area stops.
• After the agreed stops: Continue to Phong Nha for hotel drop-off; arrival time depends on sightseeing duration, traffic and road conditions.

This option is longer than the approximately 6-hour Hoi An or 5-hour Da Nang direct transfer and must be arranged in advance with a separate quote. It is a transfer with selected sightseeing, not a full guided DMZ tour.

• Depart early: 06:00–07:00 is recommended for a direct transfer; sightseeing detours or extended meal breaks require more time.
• Plan proper rest stops: coffee, lunch and restroom breaks make the long drive easier.
• Prepare your hotel name: Phong Nha has many small homestays, so send the exact drop-off location when booking.
• Bring snacks and water: especially if travelling with children or older guests.
• Stay in Phong Nha: most travellers should plan at least one or two nights instead of trying to return the same day.
