What time to leave Hoi An

Grab can sometimes work for the outbound journey from Hoi An to Ba Na Hills, depending on driver availability and app pricing. The problem is the return. Ba Na Hills base station is in a mountain area, not a normal city pickup zone. There is no reliable local supply of Grab drivers waiting there in the afternoon.

• Less privacy: your day depends on the timing and preferences of other passengers.

The Golden Bridge is the main reason many guests travel from Hoi An to Ba Na Hills. If you leave Hoi An at 7:00 AM, you normally reach the cable car station around 8:20–8:40 AM. This is still early enough for a good experience, especially on weekdays.
