Half day or full day — which one covers what?
Da Nang’s main sights are spread across the city — a private car is the only way to cover them comfortably in one day.
- Half day (4 hours): best for 2 to 3 stops — Son Tra Peninsula and Marble Mountains, or the Dragon Bridge area and My Khe Beach
- Full day (8 hours): covers Son Tra, Marble Mountains, Dragon Bridge, My Khe Beach, Han Market, and the Pink Church comfortably with lunch
- Morning start recommended: Linh Ung Pagoda and Marble Mountains are significantly less crowded before 10:00
- Evening option: Dragon Bridge fire show runs Saturday and Sunday nights at 21:00 — a half-day evening tour built around this is popular
Da Nang is a liveable modern city rather than a compact historic town — the sights are spread from the Son Tra Peninsula in the north to Marble Mountains in the south. A private car ties the whole city together in one itinerary.
Overview
A flexible private car tour covering the best of Da Nang — pagoda, mountain caves, beach, bridges, and local market.
This Da Nang private car city tour gives you a driver and vehicle for a half day or full day, with an itinerary built around what you actually want to see. The driver handles all navigation, parking, and route logistics — you focus on the stops.
Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra is a peaceful hilltop setting with one of the tallest Lady Buddha statues in Vietnam. Marble Mountains has cave pagodas inside limestone hills that most first-time visitors are surprised by. The Dragon Bridge is genuinely impressive in scale, and My Khe Beach is one of the best city beaches in Vietnam.

Travel Tips
What makes the difference on a Da Nang city day.
- Go to Son Tra and Marble Mountains early. Both are noticeably less crowded before 10:00. The cave pagodas at Marble Mountains feel more atmospheric with fewer people inside.
- Dragon Bridge fire show is Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 only. The bridge is still striking on other nights — lit up in colour over the Han River — but the fire and water display is the main event.
- Marble Mountains has a lift for travellers who prefer not to climb the steep stone steps — useful for elderly guests or young children.
- My Khe Beach is at its best in the morning — good light, calmer water, fewer vendors.
- Han Market is worth 45 minutes for dried seafood, local snacks, lacquerware, and fabric — more authentic than the souvenir strip near the beach.
- The Cham Museum (free entry, central location) is one of the best Cham sculpture collections in the world — easy to add as a half-hour detour on a full-day itinerary.
